Hi everyone. I have 2004 BT cruiser 5230. I would like to change the dinnette slide out to a trifold queen sleeper sofa. I would also like to upgrade the jackknife to match and a pedestal table. Has anyone done this? do you have any suggestions as to suppliers? I am planning n a refurb and will do some floor repairs and redo a vinyl plank floor. I am awaiting a quote from Gulfstream for supply and I will do the install myself

I did something like this, not exactly what you want but it worked out well. photos in my folder sbb2112. I repurposed the dinette seats by turning them sideways. fit perfect in the slide. found a table at thrift shop and ordered posts/sockets for it. put a piece of plywood behind the back on a hinge with deadbolt slides on each end to keep it in place. folds down flat.

nice job on the retro fit

I must say you did an excellent job on the refit of the dinette. I wouldn't have thought of it but as a boatbuilder i see the beauty in the idea. What is the dimension of the bed when flat? Is it close to a queen size? Right now my wife occupies the dinette and I occupy the jack knife. The big problem, not so much, is our two dogs that must sleep with us. I know. A real problem. Ps. Did you remove the jack knife and put in a chair or is that a revolving passenger front seat?

Not that big. 36"X71". We put twin size sheets on it. There is a bonus to this layout, storage underneath and the seats still fold open to access with the back up or down. I added a footrail like at a pub after the pics we shot.
