Converter location? Sun Voyager 8389

I need help location the converter on a 2007 Sun Voyager 8389. I just purchased the coach a few days ago and the DC power is not working even when connected to shore power. The coach batteries have now died and I have no lights. I have searched the manual given to me and it only mentions the type of converter installed but not the location. Thanks in advance!

LOOK for a brown metal panel, hinged at bottom, 1/4-turn thumb latch. Check breakers, and power cord/ plug, esp. if 4-wire/50a, one side can be bad while other 120vac works. Breakers are 120vac, fuses in panel are 12vdc. There are two 30a REV POL fuses, 1= CONVERTER POWER TO FUSE PANEL, other= FUSE PANEL TO BATTERY. CYCLE/ OFF/ON all breakers. If REV/POL blown, double check battery polarity. Good Luck

Yes I was able to locate it. Once I replaced it, everything started working again.

It? So you replaced fuse/ fuses, or converter or?

Where was it located? I have had zero luck finding mine. What does it look like?

Mine was in the bedroom behind a metal vent panel below the closet that is closest to the bathroom. You'll know you're looking at the converter because you should see the positive and negative battery cables plugged in the converter and the converter itself should be plugged in a power outlet.

There is also another metal vent panel below the other closet and that should be the transfer switch for generator.

Just curious, what was your original problem? I get no power especially if my batteries are dead even when hooked up to share power. No AC no refrigerator nothing.

Everything that required 12 volt/DC stopped working when the house batteries died, like the lights and fridge even when plugged into shore power. I tested the batteries to see if they were getting a charge when plugged into shore power and they weren't, which is how I knew the converter wasn't working.
