Door Lock/Latch help - 2008 Tourmaster

Got locked out of my RV last week. Door latch won't open from outside, handle works on the inside. Tightened mechanism and it worked for a few days. Took it apart and it appears the latch outside is not connecting to inside handle. Looks like the parts are worn out. No part numbers on the inside of latch/handle. Online trying to find replacement parts. TriMark shows the part but I cannot buy it directly from them. I found DK Parts but they are crazy expensive. Where else has anyone purchased the parts? Any advice for replacement help would be appreciated.

I can't recall the guys name but a quick surf about being locked out of your RV will show a link. His kit is well thought out and supplies better hardware to fix the latch and all the procedure. Well worth the money and not even close to the original Tri Mark rip off price.

Found mine on ebay/ Amazon/CW; determined there are two types, one is just rectangular; other is more a D-shape. Video above shows the D shape. Good Luck.

Hello
One option is to replace that lock with a new keyless entry. But of course it does come with 2 fobs and 4 keys for a backup if needed. I installed a remote with a key pad on my coach Door as an upgrade and it had been one of the best things i could have do e to my coach. And get a lot of compliments and questions about it. Don't repair that original lock as they are impossible to get replacement keys easily and they all seem to break like yours.
Just a better suggestion then messing with those junk factory locks..
