Just took the first trip on our, new to us, 2008 SN 6400. After reading posts on this site, I did the air suspension upgrade... what a difference in ride.
I found the coach ok to drive but requires more attention in cross winds than our old travel trailer.

The only problem was the slidetopper on the large slide came open during driving when we were hit by a sudden wind. That gave me some excitement while driving on I-40. I don't recommend adding a sail on the RV... :D

Family liked the RV and overall we had a good first trip.

Slowly thinking of mods I want to make. First is to sound proof the cab.

Looking forward to more trips this summer.

Hi. We are in the process of purchasing a 2008 Supernova and would like to talk to someone who already has one. Can you call us at 912-568-7024? Thanks

CaryandMarion,

I tried to give you a call today but it went to answering machine. I was one of the first owners of a SuperNova and could answer about any question you might have. Please post again if you would like a call or pm me.

Hello,

I purchased an 2009, 6400 a few months back and am interested in learning about/sharing any problems I or anyone else has. The only real negative thing I have experienced so far is the power package (engine) and Texas TC was kind enough to explain that is normal with the Supernova.

How did the suspension upgrade go and how much did that cost?

Suspension upgrade was worth it. Passengers enjoy the ride much better in the coach. Total cost was close to 6K. I chose the ACS superide 810 system.
My engine is chipped and tows a vehicle ok. Living in the SW and Rocky Mountain area, more power would be good.
The only real problem so far has been the slide cover.

I did build a slide out pantry next to the fridge so my wife could reach the back top of the space.

We have owned for less than a year but really like the rig and it works well for our family.

What type of engine chip do you have? I just bought a Power Play MP-8, part # 2110101 in hopes that it will help. Just trying to figure out how to install it now as the directions are not all that great...

I would like to also get the suspension system and will in time.

Do you have a picture of the slide out pantry you built, sounds like a good idea.

I did put a 10 X 8 foot aluminum deck on top to watch NASCAR races and it turned out really nice.

Sorry for the delayed response, I was in Hawaii getting a sunburn :)

I too have a MP-8 chip. It was already installed when I purchased the coach. Sorry I can't help with installation.

I have attached pictures of the pantry slide out.

I would also like to see pictures of your deck. That might come in handy at events.

Roy,

Talk about a delayed response...I thought the system would notify me if something was posted, guess I was wrong.

That slide out looks really great. I guess that will have to put on my to do list to build.

I tried to uploaded a picture of the deck on top not sure if it will show up or not.

Hopefully the picture will show up this time, needed to reduce the file size.
