generator not charging batteries

Hello, you might check the generator circuit breakers at the generator. There should be at least 1. Might need to pull a cover to find it. Check the owners manual.

If your 120 volt circuits are working, then it is probably your inverter. Your decisions will be fix yours or install a new one.

CONVERTER is the Charger. If you have 120vac at receptacles*, check Circuit Breaker for CONVerter in Breaker Panel?

If not tripped, there is a (pair** of 30a fuses, labeled REVERSE POLARITY) on POWER CENTER converter end of charge wire, and a 12vdc CIRCUIT BREAKER on battery end of same wire, (next to battery, with a RESET button on small end).

(* If no power to RECEPTACLES, check main breaker on GEN itself, usually right behind the Onboard START Switch); (**One = CONVERTER TO POWER CENTER Fuses, OTHER = FUSE PANEL to BATTERY.)

The GEN Provides 120vac to the CONVERTER which supplies 12vdc to the POWER CENTER FUSES. You can check Converter output at both sides of the TWO 30a (main) fuses at Fuse Panel; (if battery was installed reversed polarity, it blows these fuses.) One= Between Fuse Panel and Converter; One= Between Fuse Panel/ Battery. You may have one/ both blown, or maybe other issues, (loose wires, GEN problems, etc.? There are also MAIN BREAKERS (one or two, depending on GEN size) on the GEN itself, (near/ behind the on-GEN START switch on most). Good Luck
