2026 5255: While using Waze or Google Maps on the installed dash monitor, I run into rerouting issues when I use the turn signal to change lanes. If I have a destination plugged in and use my turn signal, either program seems to think I have left the route and need rerouting instructions. Those instructions don't make sense and really cause navigation issues, especially when in high traffic situations.

Examples; while driving in a busy downtown area the GPS rerouted me every time I indicated a lane change, (confusion, stress and safety concerns!) Another time while crossing the Mississippi River and indicating a lane change, the GPS said "in 500 feet make a U turn". I was on a one way bridge with no turns available.

I reverted to using the map program on my phone and continued without turn signal interference.

Any suggestions to rectify this issue?

Hah! I’m not sure if your ‘26 5255 is different than my ‘25 (based on all the issues I suspect mine was one of the first built as a ‘25), but I use my iPhone and CarPlay to drive navigation, play music, handle calls through the monitor. You may be using an Android phone but it should be supported as well.

My ‘25 came with three cameras, and every time I used the turn signals the screen changed which was very annoying and distracting, especially at night. As I remember it also messed with the audio. There was no software option to stop it, so I had the dealer unplug the left and right camera so now the only camera is backup, or I can press a button anytime to use the rear camera.

Not sure this helps you other than you’re not alone!
