Hello Everybody,
We just purchased a gently used post-pandemic 23RSS and are in the process of outfitting it for next summers travels.
The Wife and I really like the camper layout and are looking forward to many expeditions after I retire this spring.
I found a problem with the locking mechanism for all of the window latches. It's like the slider doesn't go far enough in the closed position to engage the latch. Has anybody had this problem and maybe figured out a fix?
Thanks for any help, see you out on the road!

Congratulations in your new to you camper, looks like a great layout. You'll love retirement. We're on our 4th camper and downsized each time. Just got a very lightly used 2020 Ameri-Lite Super-Lite from the original owner. Leaving for Florida in early February for 2-3 months.

The first thing I would check would be the lip around the outside of the window frame where the window meets the frame. There might be something stuck in there that can easily be brushed out or scraped out.

We are actually owners of a 6340 Endura Motorhome By Gulfstream.
We have that issue from time to time. I find the use of an old tooth brush, small flat blade screwdriver and a shop vac to suck out the dirt and grime is a big help.
I then lube all the window chanel (s) with a silicone spray. It makes the windows close and latch so much easier.

Good luck, and Happy Retirement!

I’ll try that
It almost latches when you close it but just not quite enough
All the windows are that way
Thanks

Please let me know if it does the trick!
