My family is planning to take a trip to Flagstaff AZ late November. I have never taken an RV when temps will be below freezing at night and I'm wondering if the Gulfstream supernova 6341 will do okay with the colder temps. There are vents in the freshwater tank area but I dont think the black and grey tanks are protected. typical weather for this time of year are highs in the 50's and lows around 20F. Any advice is appreciated.

Does the mh have black/grey tank heaters? If so have you tested them to make sure they work? If you have them, they should keep the tanks from freezing.

iF YOU HAVE FURNACE vents to FW tank, then you also have them to black/ grey; fire up furnace and set to 50-55 and snuggle in without worry.

If it is going to freeze do not connect your water hose unless it is only to fill your fresh water tank or purchase a heated hose then you can have city water all the time.

You can add RV ANTI-FREEZE to your black and grey tanks (about 2 gallons each) and be conservative with your water usage. Regular ANTI-FREEZE should NEVER be used for this.

NEVER leave your dump hose connected in freezing weather. And, in warm weather only dump your black tank when it is about ¾ full as it takes lots of liquid to properly carry the waste.

Hope these little hints help.
