Bought NEW Gulfstream Amerilite in 2021. After a 2 hr trip back home, I opened it to find USB plugs/electrical plates fallen out of the wall. When I went to open the fridge, the handle broke off in my hand. Table was not fastened to the floor and 2 of the windows latches would not fasten so opened flapping during travel. On first trip when sitting down at table, the back totally broke off onto the floor. Pieces would not stay together, Stairs caught on screen door going in&out, screws came out of screen during travel jamming the door so it would not open from the outside. RV Dealer tried to accommodate problems but Gulfstream kept denying claims saying it was abuse. NOT! It's suppose to house 7-8 people, only 2 traveling. It fell apart every time it was moved. When dealer finally gave up trying with Gulfstream I called direct to the warranty dept. The lady in charge told me "sometimes you get what you pay for". I was furious! I said $23K NEW isn't chump change, back your product. She said if you don't like it, sell it. I asked her if she'd like to buy this "beautiful Gulfstream Trailer......." she laughed & said wouldn't that be great & I told her, it would be great if they backed their product at all. Hung up! So upset. Tried to sell it and found after 1 year old, there were 3-4 of the same in my area and they were dumping them on the market for $13K-$14K, $10K loss in a year and it took them time to sell. I tried to keep it but it has been a money pit. Several different service departments in my area would not even take it for repair; they had quit selling Gulfstream & would not deal with their service department because they were a pain, never backing anything, leaving dealers holding the bag. My dealer said no more, 3 other dealers wouldn't work on it through warranty & basically told me good luck. They would not recommend Gulfstream to ANYONE! That says a lot. I have been trying to sell it 1 year into ownership. I could GIVE it away but nobody wants them. Use COVID as an excuse, Turn it on the customer & claim abuse when that's a lie. I would say No Matter WHAT the Salesman tells you.... GULFSTREAM makes them cheap, sings a great song but doesn't back anything and makes it a joke that $23K is "you get what you pay for!" Really? Wonderful customer service, NOT! Warranty Dept? In name only, they don't warrant any of it. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD PURCHASING "ANYTHING" IN MY LIFE! RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
