Hello All, new here. I've searched the forums and haven't seen my particular issue and wonder if anyone can help my brain and lead me in the right direction.
My kitchen slide on my 2005 Crescendo 8386 is stuck out. The last time I brought it in, it started creeping back out by itself when retracting the front levelers. This rig has the Dewald Power Gear 5 Solenoid Stem Valve system on a manifold with the motor/pump attached that operates the jacks and 2 slides. The drivers slide and jacks works the way they're supposed to.
It had been leaking under the unit, so I started there with a re-seal kit. I did find a broken/cut o-ring Once re-assembled, the unit has no leaks, but still have the passenger slide issue. It did come back in almost all the way after the re-seal, but now after using the other slide, it won't come in anymore and even drifted back out after using the jacks, so it's stuck out again.
Now part of my brain keeps telling me there is an internal leak/bypass/something not working in the manifold/valve system, but the other part of my brain is saying no because the jacks and the drivers slide function normal. I have not tested fully yet, but could this just be an internal leak in one of the hydraulic cylinders on the passenger side slide? Bad stem valve/s? Bad check valves?
Has anyone experienced this issue?
Thanks all,
Brian
