Well, I dumped the hot h2o, flushed it with a jet nozzle on a hose and washed out about a good cupful of white sediment. The anode rod is only about six weeks old an looks OK. I added 2-3 TBS. of bleach, plugged and filled it again. I then ran this bleach water to the sinks. I'll see how this works but I think it may be related to cruddy water down here in FLA. My RV neighbor has to clean green slime from his ceramic line filter about every two weeks.lbdils said:We are getting an odd (smelly onions?) odor from our hot water in the bathroom. It does not occur in the kitchen hot water. Any help would great.
