I needed to boost the chassis battery using the coach battery switch on our 2022 BT 5230 with E-350 Ford Chassis. I flipped the switch and the solenoid did not connect batteries. I am interested in the location of this solenoid and does the rocker switch get power from coach or house battery?

On our 5210 the switch is on the headliner behind the driver seat. You need to press and hold the switch down …. not just switch it once.

Thank you - we have the same switch location, I am looking for solenoid location connects both batteries.

Did you ever find the solenoid? On my 2021 5210 it is located in a large junction box between the house battery and the driver side rear wheel. Not an easy space to get to.

Thank you for the pictures of what I need to find, Rose at Gulf Stream tech pointed me in direction of the batteries. You have given me the picture of reset able breakers that may of popped during solar install that was recently completed. Our house batteries on our 5230 are on right side right behind passenger door. I know you have pointed me to correct direction. You are a scholar for taking excellent pictures. I will post the solution , I should be able to tackle this issue Saturday.

I just researched the information you sent. Intellitec has good information that I needed. Many Thank You's for the B.I.R.D system information you provided, I have attached wiring diagram on how the system is wired.

Thank you to (Just two), I located the Intellitec fuse location based on the pictures he provided. The 3 amp fuse had popped and needed replacement. I placed an extra 3 amp fuse in the spare location.
Thank you again to ( Just two).

No I have not actually touched the solenoid. I need to crawl under and chase the cables. I have located a large box that the fuse block is mounted in.
Did yo have a issue with yours?

I took that box out and relocated the fuses and connections. I had replace the sealed lead acid house battery with 2 - 100 amp hour lithium. I had a fuse blow for the power steps, it was located in that box behind the batteries. So I removed the box, relocated the fuse block and added a 300 amp hour lithium battery (with heater) in place of the two. I also added a Renogy B2B charge controller for alternator charging. Very nice setup for boondocking. And it is much easier to service.

We did add 800 watts solar and I spent some time looking at electrical component location and checking fuses with ohm meter on beep. We have not done any boondocking yet.
