WHY? I suspect you misunderstand operation? The float inside tank moves a magnet inside tank, there is no mechanical connection to gage. and Temperature greatly affect level reading. What shows as 75% one day can be 100% next day, as liquid/ vapor level changes, without any use or filling... and you can fill empty tank, and gage show 75-80%, bc of required air (vapor) space in top of tank.... if you filled 100% w/ liquid and hot sun/ road/ weather heat hit it, it would rupture/ explode from liquid expansion... There is an internal safety 2nd float that stops filling at a certain liquid level and auto closes fill valve.... to provide the SAFETY VAPOR/ EXPANSION SPACE above the liquid. HOPE this helps? If you truly need parts, any RV or Propane vendor should be able to order if you cannot find online?
