Hi All,
I would have been a happy owner, but we have been waiting on our New TT since February. Factory seems to not be able to keep our information in the production line. Very frustrating. Now concerned we're going to get a sloppy build and lots of issues. They have asked for the PO 4 times and what color interior 4 times. We only ordered one because the FBS models are not usually on the lots, but it has everything we want. I can't even figure out if this one has a tank water heater or an on demand water heater. Has anyone else had factory issues? I'm losing faith and their website leaves lots of questions.

It takes patience

Hi, we went thru the ordering process last year. Ordered thru a dealership thats not close to us which really had a terrible rep. In fact that rep was fired before our Conquest was delivered. It took from about June to Sept for completion, seemed like forever, but in reality 4 months wasn't bad. The factory really should have better communication, with technology these days. I mean when you order a pizza, an app tells you what stage your pizza is at being cooked and delivered, its not that hard. I would have loved just some information, that could ease the mind. For our Conquest 6250 there is one minor/major cosmetic issue with the frame around the slide. Still waiting since Dec for parts, luckily it does not impact operation. I'm happy with the fit and finish, everything works perfectly. We changed some things, but knew we would upgrade those anyways like kitchen faucet, shower sprayer. One thing that was really hard was getting the options I wanted. ie: wanted undermount sink with those sink covers, but got overmount sink instead. Was assured a few things would come as I requested, but then again that rep was not doing a great job apparently. I have contacted gulfstream directly thru their website that has a form for customer service and they have always responded, quite happy with that. In fact just asked them about the frame parts and got an answer the same day. Hang in there, keep being a squeaky wheel and hopefully soon you'll be enjoying your new camper!!

Campers in limbo

Thanks RVIsFun3700,
Yeah I go to the dealership every Friday to have a face to face. Come to find out the 3 AZ dealerships were recently sold to CampersInn from the family that owned them. Don't seem to have their stuff together. But Gulf Stream asked for the PO and specs three times and I saw each request and reply. But hopefully they get our choices right and we just have small flaws. This week they tell me it's out of inspection and getting issues fixed.
Thanks for the reply, it gives me hope. Good luck.

You get what you pay for is so true with trailers. It's almost better to buy used because depreciation is there and most of the bug-a-boo's are dealt with and what you see is what you get. You do need to inspect and ask questions even putting it in writing. Have a good dealer that you can rely on to fix anything you can't or don't want to do. Use some of the savings to buy an extended warranty.

Just to follow up on the post. We finally got the trailer 6 months after order. We do love it. It has spent almost the first year in the dealership shop. Water heater fail, fresh water tank spin weld fail, dinette table screws overdriven and stripped out, many inside trim issues, dump valves reversed, new tires were already more than a year old before install, slide out outside sink poor design for flexible drain leaked inside, A/C unit trips frequently, bed deck broken supports before we left the lot on first inspection.
Dealership has started to get the stuff together and improve. Gulf Stream was very slow to respond to and warranty issues. Pretty disappointed in Gulf Stream staff.
We do love our trailer. Since it's a Vintage, we get lots of comments, even from camp hosts. It tows so well that I sometimes forget it's behind me on long straight runs.
Thanks for your comments and support.
