P30 Wiper Switch Wiring and Delay Box Troubleshooting

I'm struggling as usual!!! Is the wiper switch original to the P30 wiring or 'new to the Gulfstream wiring? I'm fairly certain that mine aren't wired correctly. The switch is a 3 position switch ( off, on,on) but it only works on one of the ons and, I think, the wipers sweep when the switch should be off. I have tried to find the correct wiring diagram but can only find chevy truck ones. I would have thought that they would be basically the same but they're nothing like my wiring!!

I have now found a delay box tucked up under the dash area. It looks similar to a MT-115 but theres no name or numbers on it. Are there any 'experts' on here with knowledge of how this should be wired. Theres a red light on it but it doesn't light up.
