Powering the radio from house batteries

The switch with a musical note that should provide power to the radio when parked isn't working. Anyone know how this switch is wired? Does it control a power relay or is it a direct feed to the radio? We have a Friendship G-7 but suspect the most models are wired the same.
Presuming there is a fuse, where is it located?

The radio always gets it's power from the chassis batteries. What the switch with the musical note on it does is supply the power directly to the radio so the key switch does not have to be on.
As long as you have good chassis batteries and have not turned the chassis battery disconnect switch to the "Off" position it should work.
I don't know if there is a fuse for the radio or not. Does your radio work with the key switch on and musical note switch off?

I know some have ran their radio so much when parked that it has ran their chassis batteries down and they didn't find it out until they
wanted to start their engine.

Ron, not sure that you're correct. Gulf Stream Owners Manual calls it the "Radio-coach/chassis" switch and the salesman also said that the function was to allow the use of the radio without running down the chassis battery. Main question though is the fusing setup. Even with the engine running, if I switch to what I would consider the coach side, radio goes dead. Apparently no power to that side of switch.

Got it fixed. Coach side do the switch receives power from the same fuse labeled TV Ant Booster. Works fine now.

Dennis,
I just want to let you know that indeed I was wrong! I just went to the storage lot where we keep our MH and I just turned the switch on to the "house" batteries and
left the disconnect switch off to the chassis batteries. I flipped the "music" switch and the radio came on with the house batteries and it went off when I switched it
to chassis side if the switch.
So I guess that was my mistake for the year giving you the wrong info. My wife says I mistake before, I don't remember that, I think she is mistaken.
