Funny that the 1st thing I want to get for my new 5210 is a front window sunshade, but gosh that big beautiful front window glass becomes a large magnifying glass quickly!

And it's also amazing that there are so many price differences. Would love to hear what you find works best ........ Sounds like construction and material must play a big part.

Are there any options that act like house solar shades that block varying degrees of sun? Didn't notice any while I was searching Amazon. I'm on the road for the views ....

Thanks in advance for your input.

We have a 2022 5210 and use a regular silver sun shade for total blockage for short term solution. We got a custom size for E350 from ford dealership so it fits exactly. When parked at campground we use a custom cover that allows 90% solar protection for all 3 windows and you can still see out but gives privacy. Attached are photos along with the company we purchased from.

We built custom shades using reflective material (refectics) on one side and black mat material on the other. Bias tape around the edges. Three pieces, both sides and the windshield. In the winter we put the black side out and gain solar heat plus insulate. Refectics side out in the summer to reflect the sun and insulate.

We also have an insulated curtain between the cab and the house. Closing that helps a great deal heating and cooling the living area. We added snaps to keep it tight.
