I have owned my 5230 for 8 years. My “ABOVE FLOOR SLIDER” has always had a tight seal. This fall we had a small hurricane type gust of wind suddenly come through our campground. I physically saw the wind catch the slider awning lift the slide out up and down. I mediately brought the slide out in. But it started to leak from the backend of the slider for the first time ever. I noticed it was 1/2 inch out of alignment on the bottom corner. My question. With only 1 central above floor slide out mechanism. How do I realign it?

Have you tried running the slide in and out several times making sure to hold the button for a few seconds after it stops? Both directions?

From our slide manual (yours may be different)

Resynchronizing the Slide-Out Motors

1. Fully extend the slide room using the switch. Keep the switch engaged until the motors shut down on
their own.
2. Retract the room 1-2 inches.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until both motors shut down at the same time. In many cases, two or three
repetitions are necessary to re-sync the system.
4. Fully extend the slide-out and keep the switch engaged until the motors shut down on their own.
Fully retract the slide-out, again keeping the switch engaged until the motors shut down on their own.
If both motors shut down at the same time at full extension and full retraction, the room is properly
synchronized. If they do not shut down at the same time, repeat the process until they do.

If this doesn't do it, I can't help. :whistling:

Start with a very careful inspection under slide with slide out or partly out? Are gear tracks on sides/ ends of slide (Schwintek)? Measure each side/# notches/ gear teeth and forward/ reverse measurements of slide in hole; check for interference/ dragging/ hitting/ damage and look underneath, locate any adjusters and marks of movement (e.g. shiny?), or loose nuts/ bolts or something bent? Broken welds/ cracked welds/ snapped joint/ brackets? Loose/ missing screws in brackets or hardware? TAKE PICTURES OF ANYTHING QUESTIONABLE?

Study your slide, should have adjusters/ slot for sliding forward/ reverse (L/R when looking from side, plus adjustments for up/ down?
