We do not yet own a Vintage Cruiser, we are looking at purchasing one, there is a 2018 Woody Vintage Cruiser for sale in our area.. But trying to do due diligence before purchasing.
On our current 2016 Jayco Flight 19RB we have swapped the lead acid battery for 3 Lithium and added 6 - 100W solar panels to the roof. We changed out the converter and added an inverter and we can boondock and keep the fridge running while driving down the road.
We would like to add these changes to our next travel trailer as well.
We are not finding much information that will give us confidence that we can do this in a Vintage Cruiser.
Has anyone done a switch over like this?
How difficult is adding solar panels to the roof?
We travel most of the time in March, nights can get cold. Do we need to install insulation and an underlayment fabric under the floor.
Any info would help. Thanks
