My 1989 Sunsports roof vent in the shower area is a little worse for wear. I have replaced the external 'lid' with a generic replacement but, I need a replacement internal flyscreen and surround. Are these still available as a straight swap? Do I need to modify something more modern?

you might consider replacing the whole thing with an aftermarket DC vent fan like the MaxxAire, FanTastic or other aftermarket powered vents -- these are multi-speed and efficient, and some are reversible and most have rain sensing for automatic closing.

From the amount of water damage you are chasing in your older RV, having additional ventilation is a good thing...

Thank you for the reply. I don't want to replace the complete thing if possible as I have had the roof rersealed and don't want to 'unseal' it!!
