Good afternoon it's been a while since I've posted. I have a quick question. We have a 2022 236RL it is solar ready is what we were told. So what do we need to get it hooked up beside the panels? There is a plug on the side for solar. Just have never had any dealings with it.

Our 19ERD was 'solar ready' but there was no charge controller in the path. So if your solar panels are like ours and do not a have built in solar charge controller, you will need to install one. Some newer solar panels, especially the portable ones, now have the charge a controller built in

If you want to run any 120 volt appliances then you will need an inverter. There are inverters built into the solar generators. A lot of campers are using these for the power sources. Might be worth taking a look.

This is a vital component that regulates the electricity coming from your solar panels. It protects your batteries from overcharging and ensures they receive the correct voltage. Choose a controller with a capacity that matches your total solar panel wattage.

My Ameri-Lite 274QB has a sticker for "Solar Ready Pre-Wired", not sure where are the wires, there is no plug on the front of the RV or any where else, neither a plug on the roof, so I don't know where to start.
Please see attached picture showing all the cables located by the battery, I'm assuming that the thick red cable that is going underneath of the RV could be for the 12v interior electrical panel, but what are the second skinner red, blue and yellow cables.

Can I connect the solar panels with the charge controller to the big red and ground?

Solar ready is a joke. All mine had was an SAE plug on the front right side. So I bought some panels and a controller. Plug and play.

My 2023 BT Cruiser 5270 is solar ready as well. It has a set of pugs in the roof for a solar panel to be plugged into. I have also noticed 2 wires coming into the battery compartment. I assume the come from the plugs on the roof. I only have one battery in that compartment, so I am sure I would need to add another battery. I haven't seen a charge controller either.
