Tire size

My 2005 bt cruiser on a ford e350 has old all terrain tires size LT225/75R16. I plan to replace with highway tires of same size, but some sites are saying that the correct size should be LT245/75R16. I’m thinking that’s too wide for the rear duals. Advice appreciated.

What does your coach sticker say? Mine says 225/75-16 so that's what I run. 245s are wider and shouldn't be used on the stock rims if the sticker calls for 225s. They get too close together on the dually configuration. They can possibly touch or rub or make it easier for stuff to get stuck between them.

I personally run the Cooper HT3, which I love, and in the 225 they are Load Range E, which is a step up from the original Load Range D (It's actually hard to find a D anymore). Thanks Larry. I just now checked the label, and it does specify LT225/75R16. That pretty much confirms that as the right choice. Will go with that.
