Hey y'all, has anyone had to replace the plywood floor on the undercarriage of their Tour Master? I have a leak somewhere underneath the water manifold bay on the curb side. I'll need to pull it all out at some point to find it but that floor is rotted really bad.

Big Question I have is if it's load bearing for anything in there and was it a relatively straightforward job? I don't believe it's really load bearing and hopefully can be dropped out because there is framing to support the waste tanks that are stacked there across the coach. There is a ton of debris in there because of a previous faulty bay door seal. This will need to be a Phil rebuild special.

Thanks for any tips. Picture for shock value!!

Good luck Phil! Be sure to include pictures of your repair. I have never done this so can't add any specific hints, etc.

Was the leak in the manifold itself? Individual valve units can be renewed/rebuilt if that is needed.

Well, I found the leak - right up front, obscured pex connection behind a couple of other lines. Looks like it dripped down and immediately went under the face plate. Who knows how long that has been leaking but like my wife says (who ran an insurance agency), simple water leaks cause the most significant damage. Holds true for RVs in spades. Will do on the pics.

I would also be interested in seeing how you do the repair ...

thanks ahead of time ...
