Greetings, I have never had a travel trailer or RV and know absolutely nothing and need a lot of help.
My son and his family’s military tour of duty is over, and they are coming back home after almost six-years abroad. I have been asked to get his 2016 Gulfstream Wide Open KB290 toy hauler ready for them. So, I would like to know if these trailers are insulated? Built with a 16” on center standard?
But most importantly: I have read that it can carry almost 4000 lbs but I have found nothing about how much the ramp can support. I doesn't seem like it can hold too much. His mother and I want to put a new side-by-side inside so when they open the ramp they’ll get a nice welcome home surprise. The issue is if the ramp can support a SxS that weighs almost 2500 lbs driving up it? I do not want to warp or wreck the ramp in this pristine trailer.
It is prewired for a generator, and I would like to have one installer. Can anyone recommend what brand and size to get?
