My wife is 5 ft , so we upgraded the bathroom fan to one that has remote control, with temp and rain sensor.

Good choice. It should pull a lot of air in or out, and the remote will help the "little person". We have two fans in ours. The front has all yours does, but the bathroom is just your basic fan. We have an extension tool that allows my little person to raise the lid, and flip the switch.

We put the new fan in the bathroom, it is a very good upgrade. I have ordered a the storage box for macerater hose and I will be having the unit installed once everything arrives.
