What coolant/antifreeze does the engine of 05 Gulfstream Independence Need?

Hi,

I recently bought a used 2005 Gulfstream Independence and am doing some work on it and I noticed that the coolant for the engine was really low so I wanted to fill it but I am not sure what coolant to use for the engine.

Any help would be appreciated it.

What engine do you have? For my freightliner a shop put the wrong coolant in and cost me a couple of level sensors znd an EGR system. So definitely make sure you get the right kind! FCCC helped me by looking up the original BOM on my rig. Good luck!

If you provide your VIN to the freightliner dealer, they can advise you with the proper coolant for your brand and size engine.

Thank you! The engine is a V10 gasoline with an automatic transmission. I did find the owners manual online but it was useless as it did not say what coolant to use, just use a 50/50 mixture.

Identify the chassis (guessing F53 ford?) and download OWNER MANUAL, (probably says FORD MOTORHOME?) answers should all b there?

COOLANTSFORD-EN.PDF CHART (2019) says 2004-2008 use Motorcraft GOLD (yellow on the chart vs Orange or Green). Good Luck
