WHERE is the slide switch on a 1998 Gulf Stream Conquest, LOL! I have looked everywhere, this is a new to us camper, and bought as is not running. It's actually in great shaped, just needed a fuel pump and cleaning and repair on the nosecone delamination. But I cannot locate the switch that makes the living room/ kitchen slide open. Me and hubby have looked everywhere.
There is a switch near the floor by the door that has the switches for the step, outside light and inside light, then there is a lighted switch (green light, but does not light up but you can see the green lens) that I THINK is the generator switch (non operational at this time, that's for a later repair, and there is a generator switch on the dashboard) but it may be the slide switch now that I have looked everywhere.
The seat is in the forward position, I haven't checked the fuses yet in the fuse panel, so it may be blown, will check later when the rain stops. Does anyone know if that is the switch or if it's for the generator? We can't find any additional switches in cabinets, along walls, in the hood range gauge display. The driver seat is also all the way forward in case that safety switch is triggering the other switch that I think is an additional generator switch.
