We don't have air suspension on our Gulfstream SunVoyager (2007 model 38.8' FRED). Rather, our coach has springs and shocks. I am looking for suggestions on what I can do to improve the ride and / or stabilize or lessen the side to side rocking that sometimes occurs when we pull out of a driveway or uneven parking lot...

The ride doesn't seem poor to me but I have never driven a coach with Air Suspension...

Don't know about your model, but the first thing I would try would be to replace the original shocks with Bilstein or Koni shocks. They made all the difference in the world on my Kodiak chassis that had similar problems.

On my 2002 gasoline coach that I used to have it come from the factory with Firestone Ride-Rite air bags and they were mounted between the frame and the leaf spring on the rear. I would add 90lbs of air on it and it helped to raise the rear up so that it would not drag coming off my driveway and it also stabolized the ride. You would not have any of the wallowing from side to side. You might want to check them out.

We took our coach to a Big truck axle and alignment shop. It was cheaper and quicker than a rv shop and it rides smooth without swaying. They replaced springs and realigned and worked their magic.

I would also second the Koni shocks for improved ride.
