Default toilet instalation

i am putting my toilet back in my 87 gulfstream and i noticed no wax ring,do i need to install one?????

Sorry about missing your post.
Definitely put a ring in to seal your toilet.
I'd also liberally apply silicone around the base of the toilet where it meets the floor.
